Washington State...Finally!

We left Winchester Bay and headed north towards Seattle and my first time in Washington State. It's been a long time since we added a new state to our travel map!

Our first day was spent traveling through the rest of Oregon. We spent the night in Vancouver, WA, just north of Portland, OR. The Ninety-Nine RV Park is tight, but it's right off the highway and we got a long, paved pull-thru site that was great for a quick overnight. At the Passport America rate of $17, it was a great bargain! The drive through Oregon was beautiful...the next day's drive to Seattle, surprise, was rainy!

After two days of battling traffic on I-5 in Portland, Tacoma and Seattle we finally arrived at our campground...Issaquah Village RV Park. It's a very tight park but that's to be expected around large cities. We had a paved pull-thru, room to park our truck and cable TV, so all was well. We were ready to take on Seattle!
