Indy 500...Another View

I have been so lax about posting...think it's because we've been traveling and having fun! I have lots to tell about besides the Indy, but will save the rest for another post

After the Race...
Jack pretty much covered the Indy race weekend in great detail. From my perspective, it was hot, crowded and an awful lot of people were drinking too much. The first 150 laps of the 200 lap race were boring to this non-race fan, but the last 50 laps were exciting and fun to watch. It was cool going to an event as celebrated as the Indy 500 and I liked being there for Jim Nabors' last rendition of "Back Home in Indiana"; I also enjoyed listening to Mario Andretti being interviewed on Legend's Day. The best part was Jack's enjoyment of having one of his dreams come true!

We saw this coming out of the parking lot at the end of the first day!
