Jack wanted ice cream and his favorite place to get it is downtown at Kilwin's. We hadn't been downtown since we got back, so off we went for ice cream and a walk along the river. We expected it to be crowded on a beautiful May weekend but we weren't expecting to find hoards of people and streets blocked off. Turns out it was the annual Rims on the River Vintage Car Show.
We managed to find a spot to park our Monster Truck and started walking. We got our ice cream, New Orleans Praline Pecan for me and Toasted Caramel for Jack, on homemade waffle cones and saw some awesome cars. I took about fifty photos!We also took home some of Kilwin's homemade Raspberry Chocolate fudge. So good!
