Big Horn County Historical Museum...

We really enjoyed the Big Horn County Historical Museum in Hardin. I was especially enthralled with the photos and artifacts of the Native Americans - Crow, Cheyenne, Sioux -  who lived and fought in this area. The Cheyenne and Sioux fought Custer at Little Big Horn; the Crow were peaceful with the US and the Crow Agency was under army control. They were enemies of the Cheyenne and Sioux and served as scouts for the army.

There are also a number of historical buildings from Big Horn that have been moved to the grounds of the museum over the years.
