Headed to the Pacific Northwest...

We left Redding and started our trek to the Northwest. Our first day would take us just over the Oregon border. It was an enjoyable drive with breathtaking scenery, especially the snow-capped California mountains in the distance.

We spent the night in Grant's Pass at Jack's Landing RV Resort. It's a beautiful park for an overnight - right off the interstate, clean, nicely landscaped, long pull-thru sites and reasonably priced. There seem to be a number of permanents but they are very well maintained.

The next morning we set out for Winchester Bay, Oregon. The roads were long and winding but so pretty!

Winchester Bay was just what I'd hoped it would be and we happily settled in for a much needed week with nothing to do but relax and rest my sore foot...
